How to Draw Bubble Letter F
Capital F hangs two bars off a single spine: a full-length top bar and a shorter middle bar. With no bottom bar to anchor it, the letter's balance depends entirely on bar placement.
Draw the spine
Make a tall, straight vertical line. Since F has no bottom bar, the spine's clean finish at the base matters more here than in E — round it softly.
Stretch the top bar
Add a horizontal bar across the top, reaching right with confident length. This is the longest element of the letter and sets its width.
Place the middle bar
Add the second bar at the midpoint, clearly shorter than the top one. Resist the urge to center it perfectly — a hair above middle reads more natural.
Inflate carefully
Outline the skeleton with an even bubble stroke. Pay attention to the bottom of the spine: with nothing attached there, any wobble is fully visible.
Finish the base
Erase the guides and round the spine's bottom end into a soft cap. A flat or ragged base makes the whole F look unfinished.
Common mistake
The accidental E
The classic F error is drawing the middle bar too long and too low, which makes the letter read as an E missing its dignity. Keep the middle bar short and slightly above center — that placement is what says 'F' at a glance.

Hook the top
Draw a tall curve that hooks over to the right at the top, like a candy cane, then descends in a straight-ish line.
Cross it
Add a short horizontal stroke through the upper third of the stem — the crossbar that makes f unmistakable.
